On-Us Field

The MICR line on-us field is also known as the account number field. On-us field lengths vary depending on the country of origin. American on-us field typically contain 3 to 17 digits while Canadian on-us fields typically contain 7 digits.

The on-us or account number field may also contain a MICR dash symbol to separate account number values. Other MICR fields include: Amount Field, Account Number Field, Transit and Institution or Routing Transit Number and the Check Number field.
