Check Number Field

The MICR check number is always part of the MICR line. Its purpose is to keep track of documents both internally and externally. The location of the check number field is dependent on whether you are banking in the United States or Canada.

Other MICR fields include: Amount Field, Account Number Field, Transit and Institution or Routing Transit Number.
