Batch Header
- Batch Header
A batch header is a numerical identifier used in batch check processing. The purpose of the batch header is to help ensure that all items within a batch have been correctly processed. The batch header data is typically located at the top of printed documents.Using a batch header for MICR check printing will ensure that the number of checks to be printed (computer data) equals the number of actual check printouts (physical data). Batch headers can also be used with virtually any form of batch printing; artwork, photos, invoices, labels, table values, and so on.
